The state hasn’t elected a Democrat to the Senate in nearly a century. Economic challenges during President Trump’s second term, as well as other factors, have put it in play.The Rev. Adam Hamilton, left, and Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas are currently tied roughly at 45 percent, according to a New York Times/Siena University poll.
