Damaged Runway at LaGuardia Reopens After Plane Wreckage Is Removed

Officials expect the airport in New York to be fully operational later on Thursday. One of its two runways had been closed since Sunday, when a jet hit a truck, killing two pilots.An airport maintenance crew at LaGuardia Airport removed the wreckage of a fire truck and an Air Canada jet on Wednesday. The plane crashed into the truck on Sunday night.
