Officials told staff members at two student-run publications, called Nineteen Fifty-Six and Alice, that they were not compliant with Attorney General Pam Bondi’s memo on diversity programs.The University of Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa. The school said that because of shifting federal policy and diversity programs, it could no longer support the magazines.
