After Fatal Crashes, N.Y.C. Lawmakers Seek to Regulate E-Bikes

Lawmakers are expected on Wednesday to discuss a raft of proposals to regulate the use of electric bikes and scooters, after a series of fatal crashes.Of the 20 cyclists that have died this year, most were riding electric bikes, some of which can far exceed the speed limit on these devices.
